Carnival Pale is a playful development of Paul's classic stripes, interpreted in an understated palette of pastel tones. The pattern is layered and plays with transparency, presenting a particular challenge for The Rug Company’s weavers in Nepal. The design contains 52 colours, an extraordinarily high number for a handmade rug as each one is dyed individually.
